Congratulations on this new season of life! It truly is miraculous.
My approach to newborn photos is very relaxed but efficient. I will lightly guide you through poses, and all you need to do is soak up the time with your new family. Your hand will be held throughout the entire process, and after we finish the session, my goal if for you to be calm, relaxed and feeling excited to see the magic that we captured.
A Newborn Photography Experience Unlike Any Other
Let's chat, friend! When are you due? Is this your first babe? What are you having? Who else will be in the photos? Anything else I should know?
Reach out and let's chat about the vision for your session and what your priorities are for photos. We will set your session date as your due date and once babe arrives, we’ll choose a date that works best. At this point, you will choose the Collection that you would like, but you may always upgrade at a later date.

2. PLANNING Your Session
Once you are scheduled, we can begin planning! Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in your home or my studio in La Grange.
Prior to the session, we will chat all things wardrobe, outfits for baby, lighting in your home, and tips and tricks on how to best prepare on the day of the shoot. I have client dresses for mom and wraps, swaddles and simple, neutral outfits for baby. While my lifestyle newborn sessions tend to focus on the family, I do bring along my newborn posing beanbag so we can get some simple solo shots of babe all cuddled up. I also send over a client questionnaire so we can discuss priority photos, family dynamics and anything else that is important for me to know.
Throughout this entire process, I am here to help. If you have any questions along the way, please reach out. No questions are silly, and I am always here for you.
3. ask me Anything
It’s session day! By the time this day rolls around, we will have prepared and you will feel calm and relaxed because I’ll be there every step of the way to hold your hand. I will lightly guide you and pose you as I move through my tried and true workflow.
If things don’t go as planned, that is okay. I’ve experienced just about every hiccup, and we pivot and move along a new path and walk away with beautiful photos. My goal is for you to enjoy this time cuddled up with your family.
4. Session Day
Your job is over, now the rest is up to me! Based on my current volume, you can typically expect to see your proofing gallery around 2-3 weeks after our session. You can choose to keep your original Collection you purchased or you may upgrade collections at this time.

Portrait sessions from $700
A non-refundable session fee covers my time and talent during your newborn session, as well as all pre-planning (a guide for prepping for your session, styling for the family, access to my client closet for babe and mama, etc.). This non-refundable fee also secures your date on my calendar!
After our session you will receive an online gallery with your photo proofs! Your session fee will be applied to your collection you choose.
