Chicago Family Photographer
Oh, how I cannot wait for warmer temperatures again! While winter is a nice reset, and it’s always filled with precious headshots, newborn sessions and studio product photography, there is nothing like getting back outside to work with my clients again.
After many, many years of taking photos of families, I’ve nailed down the perfect locations around the Chicagoland area to capture your family. I always look for places that include the following:
- Beautiful light. This location offers so much of that. As the sun sets in this spot, the light peeks through the trees and offers such a diffused, beautiful backlight.
- A place for the kids to run and play. This location from the gallery is one of my favorites. We always start by letting the kiddos run through the trails to get all the giggles moving and we end near the pond where we look for fishes and skip rocks.
- Easy access. I’m always aware that clients may need to trek to our shooting spot with strollers, diaper bags, and allllll the things in tow, and this spot offers a parking area that is close by and plenty of spots.
- Depth. Whether its the rolling hills or the gorgeous pond layered with the tree lined paths, this location is full of options to capture depth in the background.
